Everything begins with the death of Tolstoy's seven-year-old son. You can imagine how painful that must be. While mourning after his son, Tolstoy, was gifted a bicycle from an association called Moscow Bicycle Lovers.
Tolstoy did not know how to ride a bike until the age of 67, But he changed his focus and learned to ride his new bike, which turned into a passion for him and helped him overcome his son's pain. That's why the concept of "Tolstoy's bike" is used to mean that people learn something at an age that society can call late. There is no age for learning new things !! 😎
More examples?
During his addiction days, Miles Davis, "an American jazz trumpeter, conductor and composer," watched the boxer Sugar Ray Robinson and decided to learn boxing. And the result was surprising. He learned how to box and also got rid of heroin addiction. And he became an outstanding boxer with an interesting style at the age of 24.

Here is my favorite woman on the planet.
Even though she won many Nobel Prizes, Marie Curie did not know how to swim until her 50s. She learned how to swim with the help of her daughters. Despite not having the body of a young person, She unexpectedly started swimming very well.
And I learned cooking at the age of 36 (thanks to pandemic), which is shocking to anyone who knows me. 😊
Don't let people define you or say what you can/can't do. And learn for life.
Don't forget, age should only matter if you're cheese or wine.
