Do you need a spring cocktail, here is the bramble. It is based on gin and is always served on the rocks. Fresh and sweet.
Wikipedia says; It was created in London in 1984 by Dick Bradsell, a bartender at Fred's Club in Soho. Bradsell was inspired by memories of blackberry picking on the Isle of Wight as a child and named the cocktail the 'Bramble' after the common name for blackberry bushes.
Ingredients:
Gin (50ml)
Lemon or Lime Juice (30ml)
Sugar Syrup (15ml)
Blackberry Liqueur (15ml)
Lemon & Blackberries to garnish
Ice Cubes (for shaking)
Crushed Ice (for serving)
How:
Add 50ml g
Mix 30ml lemon juice and 15ml sugar syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake, shake, shake🥳 then strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
Top up the ice if needed and pour 15ml Blackberry Liqueur over the top. Garnish with a lemon slice and blackberries.
Note: A popular variation includes using lime juice instead of lemon juice and I strongly recommend it.
